Today I had the great pleasure in presenting my pupil Hai Anh with his ABRSM Piano Grade 1 Distinction certificate.
For his first exam, Hai Anh prepared very well and scored high marks in all sections of the exam. His piece from List B, No. 3, The Lonely Road scored a perfect 30 marks with the examiner’s note stating ‘… An effective control of dynamic contrast in an accomplished performance.’
I would like to thank Hai Anh for his hard work as we finalised his preparation in the lead-up to the exam and also his parents for having confidence in me to teach their son.
Now, the hard work starts all over again as we prepare for Grade 2!
