Last Sunday saw another wonderful afternoon of music-making at Hutton Rudby Village Hall as we held the latest instalment of Positively Piano Club.
This time, six of my pupils performed a variety of pieces, each one bringing something unique and personal to the afternoon. I was especially delighted to welcome two new performers – Robyn and her mum, Emma – who were both making their debut at the club. It’s always a joy to see family members sharing a love of music, and their performances were full of character and enthusiasm.
The atmosphere, as always, was supportive and relaxed, and it was lovely to see how much progress each pupil has made since their last appearance. Whether playing for the first time or building on previous performances, everyone brought something special to the event.
Thank you to everyone who came along to listen, and well done to all of the performers – you made the afternoon truly enjoyable.
