After 2018’s long, hot, summer when temperatures broke records, I decided not to take any chances with ensuring the learning environment in my piano studio is as good as it possibly can be for this summer by installing an air conditioning unit.

As well as preventing the studio from becoming too warm, the air conditioning unit will bring the added benefit of keeping the conditions in the studio good for my Kawai Baby Grand piano. The soundboard on an acoustic piano does not react well to wide fluctuations in temperature and humidity. So I am happy that the unit I choose has cooling, heating and other nice little touches like an air ionizer built-in.

It has a quiet mode too so it won’t disturb your lessons.

Now all we need is for the weather to co-operate again this summer and bring the heat while we keep cool in class.

If you would like to take your very first piano lesson or add to your existing piano education, please book a lesson with me today, you can book online.
