Teesside’s Shine Festival is back again this year, bigger and better than ever with a new logo as well.

The preliminary rounds of the Shine Festival 2019 start on Saturday, 27th April. Covering a wide range of instrument and vocal / choir performances, I am most interested in the piano competition.

The venue is Ian Ramsey CE Academy, Fairfield Road, Fairfield, Stockton-On-Tees TS19 7AJ and the piano schedule will be released after competition entries close on Friday 8th March 2019.

I encourage all pupils to go along to the school and listen to the performances.

Morning = £2
Afternoon = £2
Evening = £2
Day pass = £5
Children under 16 = free
Free admission to all classes for music teachers.

The Finale Concert will be held at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Sunday 12th May at 6pm. Tickets £3 adults, £1 children (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the finale performance.)
